What will you do as a data engineer at Referit?

As a Data Engineer at Referit, you will play a crucial role in developing, maintaining and optimizing data infrastructures and pipelines for our customers. In addition, you will be our specialist when it comes to processing, transforming and loading (ETL) large amounts of raw data into usable and structured forms.

Do you recognize yourself in this?

• You have experience with programming languages such as C#, Python or SQL;
• Furthermore, you have knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse);
• You have mastered data storage technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases, Data lakes and warehouses;
• You get energy from advising and supporting our customers regarding data solutions;
• And of course, you are familiar with big data analytics in Azure.

Data Integration (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse):

• Design and implement data pipelines for integrating data from different sources.
• Transforming raw data into structured and usable formats.
  

Data Quality and Management:

• Ensure data quality through data cleaning, validation and verification.
• Establish data governance processes to ensure that data remains accurate, consistent and up-to-date.
  

Data Security and Compliance:
‍

• Awareness and care of data security and privacy regulations.
  

Automation:
‍

• Automate data processes to increase efficiency and minimize human error.
  

Scalability and Performance:
‍

• Optimize data infrastructures to meet speed and scalability requirements.
  

Documentation:
‍

• Accurately document data pipelines, processes and solutions.
